Amazon announces a new Fire TV 4K HDR with Dolby Atmos

Amazon  in a surprise event an all-new Fire TV model. It is the first Fire TV capable of playing 4K video at 60 frames per second, since the 2nd-generation Fire TV could only play 30 fps 4K video. The new model is also the first Fire TV to support HDR, this combined with the 4k 60FPS ability makes this device’s video playback superior to the 2nd Gen Fire TV, thus Amazon is calling this the Fire TV 3rd Gen and its only priced at $69.99.

  • Alexa-powered remote for voice control, but can also be controlled by Echos around your room.

  • 8 gig internal storage

The device ships October 25th and is available for pre-order form Amazon.

This for $69 is a really nice streaming device and for the price by far the best device to stream video and play games on your TV.
